Scott Wade is a little different. Where others see a trip to the carwash, Scott sees a blank canvas waiting to be transformed into a unique creation. From dusty reproductions of famous masterpieces, pop-culture icons, protraits, landscapes to his own insightful characters, he draws on his endlessly quirky talent. Scott's "dirty pictures" amaze the crowds that gather to marvel at these highly detailed and shaded yet impermanent drawings in the dust on the windows of filthy automobiles.
Scott Wade's Dirty Car Art has been seen on numerous television shows in the US and abroad, and has been featured in magazines and newspapers the world over. Scott's work is an internet phenomena, appearing on hundreds of websites in over 20 languages!
Scott is an illustrator, designer and graphic artist who invented and developed Dirty Car Art a few years ago while living on a long, dirt road in Central Texas.
